Brief note as follows:-

"Recorded on the 16th February 1971 from an unnamed informant at the 'White Swan,' Pleasley, Notts.

The informant remembered having performed in a play at Arnold in his youth, but could not recollect any text. The informant was about 50."

[At the time this note was made, I was unaware of non-play Plough Monday customs, and in retrospect, I think this informant probably remembered a simple Plough Monday house visiting custom, rather than a play. PTM]
