Description of Plough Monday or Plough Day plough trailing in the author's home village in South Derbys., 60 years previously. The plough was trailed by about thirty Plow Boys in costume, who threatened to plough up door stones and slabs if they received nothing. The collector was dressed to represent "Betty".
