Left to right: Bold Ben and St.George
Bold Ben is how he introduced himself. In Eddie Cass's book "The Lancashire Pace-Egg Play" (2001), this costume is worn by a character referred to as the 'Fool' on p.94 and 'Miser' in Plate 14, p.95. Bold Ben gets a mention on p.96, so he is either multi-tasking or the one part has a variety of names.
